“Passage North” - a documentAry of life at sea

Yacht Rock Charters owners Captain Jarad and Christel Astin have been living aboard their 42’ C&C Sloop “Catherine” for over 10 years, sailing to the Caribbean Islands each winter to perform with their musical duo “Stell and Snuggs” as well as many other projects. After meeting music conservatory in Philadelphia, they have performed throughout the US and beyond, and are part-owners of CueBro, a music collective with many musical releases over the years. Falling in love with sailing in 2005, they took the lemons of Hurricane Sandy and made the lemonade of touring via sail with their 2 daughters and have never looked back.

This documentary is their last passage as a family before their oldest leaves the nest for Maritime Academy - departing the island of St. Croix, USVI and landing in Atlantic City, NJ. All of the music included in this film is of their creation - some live during the sail. Join them for a peak into life-at-sea with “Passage North.”
